Kaala Pani Museum

The Cellular Jail, famously known as Kala Paani, was a colonial prison used by the British to imprison political activists. Notable freedom fighters such as V.D. Savarkar, Batukeshwar Dutt, and Yogendra Shukla were among those exiled to remote islands. Despite the destruction of parts of the jail during World War II, it still stands proud as a national memorial monument to honor our heroes of yesteryear.

Samudrika Marine Museum

The Samudrika Naval Marine Museum is located in Port Blair, near the Andaman Teal House in Delanipur. It is meant to raise public awareness about the ocean and marine life in Andaman. An explanation of the island's ecosystem, plants, animals, tribal communities, and marine life can be found in the museum, which is also known as the Fisheries Museum.

The museum has a small aquarium with a collection of some fishes, coral reefs, and shells found beneath Andaman Island. There is also a mini-zoo on Andaman Island called Haddo, which shelters crocodiles, which washed towards the shore on the Nicobars. A blue whale skeleton washed up on the shore.

The Anthropological Museum

One of the most visited places in Port Blair Andaman is the Anthropological Museum. In addition to showcasing the tools and weapons used by the four Negrito tribes of the Andamans, the museum also portrays the past and present of various existing and extinct tribes, including the Jarwas, Sentenalese, Great Andamanesese, and Shompens.

Zsi Museum

There is also a museum in Port Blair operated by the Zoological Survey of India. The museum has specimens of exotic creatures, whales, coral reefs, and starfish, as well as some skeletons and fossils found beneath and above the island. It is a great place to take the family to see the ZSI museum on the Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
